We sampled our award-winning non-alcoholic wines, met Giesen 0% fans from everywhere, and taught festival-goers more about the 0% movement — with 0% risk of a hangover after — at the 2022 Kroger Wellness Festival.

The 2022 Kroger Wellness Festival took place in Cincinnati last weekend (Sept. 23-24)! Giesen 0% was a proud sponsor at this year’s festival and celebrated all things wellness alongside superstars like soccer legend and Olympian, Abby Wambach, New York Times best-selling author, Chrissy Teigan, and country music sensations, including Eli Young Band, Carrie Underwood, and Tom Wurth, all weekend long. The Giesen team was joined by local (and renowned) mixologist, Molly Wellmann, and had a blast immersing themselves in the health and wellness space while turning thousands of incredible people into forever fans of Giesen 0%!
The Kroger Wellness Festival is a free, two-day event in Downtown Cincinnati, created to feed the mind, body, and spirit of consumers and designed to help people live healthier lives. At the festival, guests participated in celebrity-studded fitness challenges, live cooking demos, and concerts. Plus, they enjoyed a family fun zone for the kids and expert-led seminars for the adults — and went home with an endless amount of product samples for everyone from Kroger’s favorite brands.

What We Mixed
Hundreds of Giesen 0% fans joined us at the Giesen Pavillion (516) for a two-hour mocktail happy hour from 4:00 - 6:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. We mixed up our latest-and-greatest cocktail, created by local mixologist, Molly Wellman (named 2019 Bartender of the Year, Nightclub & Bar; featured in Washington Post and New York Times). The drink — The Dream Mocktail, is inspired by wellness, perfect for sharing, and crafted exclusively for the festival. Molly joined us Saturday and taught everyone how to create the delicious (and good for you) mocktail, with all ingredients sourced from Kroger — naturally.

> 1 tablespoon Kroger apricot preserves
> 1/4 oz orange blossom water
> Fresh Lemon peel
Directions: Add preserves, orange blossom water, and wine to a cocktail shaker. Add ice. Shake shake shake. Strain into a chilled wine glass and garnish with a lemon peel. Enjoy!
